Police in the Seattle area have issued a call for help in their hunt for a dangerous criminal who left tyre marks on a LGBTQ+ crosswalk.
The cops are looking for the driver of a white Toyota Sequoia, who they want to charge with the crimes of reckless driving and malicious mischief for ‘vandalizing’ the crosswalk which has been in place since the beginning of the month.
During the unveiling of the crosswalk, a council member stated that
“The Inclusive Progress Pride flag symbolizes the value and beautiful diversity of all LGBTQIA2-S people,” adding that “Symbols matter, and the installation of this crosswalk is one way that the city is working to create an inclusive and belonging place for all community members.”
It was pointed out that this is the exact same area where a ‘MAGA’ flower display was vandalized, and police did nothing.
In addition, it seems to be perfectly fine for rainbow people to expose their genitals in front of children in Seattle. In fact, police said it is “permissible.”
Don’t you dare leave marks on a crosswalk though, that’s a crime.
Many other pointed out that perhaps police should just get their priorities straight in general:
This is happening everywhere now, with many pointing out that painting this stuff all over the roads, buses and trains at a massive cost to taxpayers, is unsafe for drivers and pedestrians, as well as confusing as hell for guide dogs.
